At NW Staffing, we believe that staffing agencies are meant to be a resource for our clients and partners. If we are not making part of your job easier, then we aren’t doing our job right. Whether you need a staffing partner to help provide coverage for your sick receptionist, or you are looking for a partnership to complete your hiring process and take something off of your to-do list, we are here for you. If you’re not familiar with staffing, below is a short introduction to our process to help as you decide whether a staffing partner is the right resource for your company.
What is your need?
If you are reaching out to chat to us, one of the first things we’ll likely ask you is regarding information on the type and duration of your need. This will help us serve you most efficiently and effectively. Sometimes, the positions you’re looking to fill aren’t in our wheelhouse and we’re happy to steer you in the direction of other agencies that can serve you best. We like to know how long you anticipate needing a candidate as we work with candidates who are looking for everything from a short-term gig to a permanent placement where they can settle in with the company. Knowing your company’s need will help us to make the best fit both for you and for our candidate.
Let’s make a connection.
Something that makes NW Staffing stand out from other agencies is our commitment to building relationships with our clients and candidates. Each client is connected with an Account Manager who will be available to walk you through the staffing and hiring process and answer questions that come up along the way. Additionally, our Account Managers will likely ask to meet you in person and tour your office or facility space to get a sense of your culture, desires for a candidate and to do a safety walk through.
Finding the right candidate:
Once we understand your need, have an accurate job description and have a timeline of when you’d like to make a hire, our recruiters get to work vetting and screening potential candidates for you. Depending on the position type and duration, some clients prefer to that we send candidates to start with them right away. If this is the case, we will provide the name(s) of the candidate(s) as well as a short bio and/or resume to reflect their relevant job experience. If you are looking for a long-term placement, we recommend you interview candidates that we send your way. Find our favorite interview tips here. This way, you’ll be able to compare candidates to make the right hire.
Placing the candidate:
After you have successfully selected a candidate for your position, we will get them confirmed to start on their first day. We’ll let them know where to go, who to check in with, we’ll remind them of your parking situation, dress code as well as instruct them on how and when to input their time to make the process seamless for you. And, if in the unfortunate incidence that the candidate just isn’t the right fit, we’re happy to have the conversation with them and end their assignment, while finding you a replacement.
Our goal when assisting our clients, is to make your hiring process easy for you. We take pride in our ability to establish long-term relationships with our clients and take care to respect and advocate for your hiring needs.
